Well, a few weeks ago I finally finished moving all of my posts from this blog over to my personal address at www.BlueTransistor.com ! =) I hope you will enjoy some new posts there and the revamped look and navigation.

Launch of Blue Transistor!

In addition to this blog and going back to school, I have decided to begin offering computer services to the public in the central Connecticut area. I am currently in school full-time to become a Technology Education teacher at CCSU, but am starting up a business called Blue Transistor. Whether you have a new home network you want to set up, a pesky virus, or want consultation on buying a new computer, I can provide experienced service and will give you my best advice.

I offer services in computer maintenance and upgrades such as:

• Virus and malware removal
• Customizing settings to speed up performance
• Hardware troubleshooting and upgrades
• CAD drawings
• Tutorials and classes in Online Computer Security

Details:

• On-site available (for an additional mileage fee)
• Remote service also available
• Experienced in finding and removing viruses
• Numerous custom builds and hardware / software upgrades

My rate is $15 per hour (plus the same rate for on-site calls) / $30 initial diagnosis and first hour, $15/hour after that. (Typical virus removal takes about 2 to 4 hours, general system clean-up takes about 2 hours).
